The purpose of YONI YOU is to celebrate the warmth and kindness of people. Too often, large corporations take from unprivileged communities, using their labour and resources, without giving back. I created YONI YOU with the intention to have a cyclical business. To sell products made within small communities, and give back to those communities. We donate 4% of our sales profit to the following charities:

As a female, I am hyper-aware of the abuse and discrimination women face from all ages and backgrounds. Every woman I know has dealt with unwanted attention and a lack of respect at some point in their lives. All too often, women are held accountable for the cruel actions projected onto them by other people. I feel so passionately towards women’s rights that I decided to start donating to Plan International. This is a charity that raises the human rights for children in under-privileged positions. Plan International works hard to stop sexual violence, FGM ( Female Genital Mutilation), improve girls education, bridge the gender divide and gender pay gap, increase climate change activism, prevent child marriage, improve sexual and hormonal education, and stop the spread of dangerous sexual misinformation. They are an incredible charity and I hope to partner with them closer as time goes on.

The NAEE are another charity I choose to support. They focus on educating children about the importance of conserving the environment and protecting wildlife habitats. They do this through fun activities that encourage the children to find joy in nature and nurture the planet. I believe a kind yet effective approach is the best when education young children, thus the NAEE are the perfect organisation to support.
